Z, Zx, or ZxR? Which is the best for the price, and which is the best in terms of gaming, watching movies, listening to music etc. Recommendations are welcomed.

Solution
i would not touch those personally. i'd rather go asus xonar. they have a lineup for every price range , from cheap to high end.

not sure about today, but sound blaster has had driver issues, before. and the thing they did with windows7 just to get to sell things? there's no way that ill buy from them

but that is just me. check asus, it wouldn't hurt to seek alternatives right?

Absolutely, I didn't know these things about Soundblaster! Can you tell me more about the ASUS xonar and the different brands? I never knew that ASUS did audio cards, i'd love to be informed by somebody who as used one before

i have one, this is dgx i think. lots of reviews online, and they have everything down from $20 i think up to something more expensive than a complete basic rig if im not mistaken. so whatever it is, im sure they have what you want.
even the latest (the last ive read at least), recon model was it, from SB, i did not like it, it was more of a gimmick, not much improvement. if i remember it right.

go check out asus's site, at first i was also skeptical, asus wasnt known for sound cards, but surprisingly they have pretty good stuff, well worth it
