So 2 GTX 760's are cheaper than getting a gtx760 and a Quadro K2000.

Ill be gaming alot and be doing a lot of fairly heavy cad.

I know 2 760's would be better for gaming than the single gtx 760 obviously. But would the gtx 760's in sli come even close to the power and speed of a Quadro K2000 for CAD, rendering, 3D max ectect.

Thanks!

My advice is to get a single card, the EVGA GTX780 with ACX cooler:

BF4 can already use over 2GB of VRAM and newer games will too so you should get 3GB or 4GB cards.

SLI is good but it's not always as smooth as a single card even with frame metering technology so you can't simply compare frame rates in benchmarks. There can be other issues as well and I believe not all rendering software supports SLI.

I'm simply not an expert on rendering software, though you can Google for the benchmarks to compare yourself. I think there are cases where you have to FORCE...
There is a big difference between programs and how well they utilize GTX or Quadro cards. Huge. You would need to investigate each program in your list.

If it was one or two programs I could possibly help but you seem to have a list so I can't advise.

That's my advice.
