I am planning to build a system myself (for the first time) to run sql server and oracle databases along with some reporting tools.
After some research, I have decided to buy Xeon E5-2620 V2, Asus P9X79 E-WS motherboard and I will be using Windows 2012 R2 server.
I want to use 16-32GB RAM but I am not sure which model #s are compatible.
I would highly appreciate if someone could suggest me a compatible RAM, cooler, psu, hard drive, graphics card and a case that would run the system without much NOISE AND HEAT. I don't play games. Apart from database applications, I will also run Matlab and other computational software. Please suggest what else would I need.
