Hi guys I have a doubt regarding choosing an adequate gfx for my system.

My specs:-

Amd FX 6100(3.6 MHz)
4 gbs of ddr3 ram
Gigabyte GA 78lmt u3 mobo
Corsair VX550 smps
20 " Samsung monitor (1600 X 900)

MY Budget - $140(STRICTLY)
I favour Nvidia but AMD will also do.

I have considered the following:-

GTX 650 ti
HD 7770
HD 7790
GTX 650
HD 6670
GT 640

And also recommend wether to bet a 1 gb or a 2 gb version. That being said, I am an average gamer and willing to play games at mid - high settings(1600 X 900)
I am not planning to change any other system specs

Thanks in advance

Out of the cards you have listed the 7790 or the 650ti would be your best picks. The HD 7870 MYST. Edition that filippi listed is a hot card that likes to have artifact problems when stressed (first hand knowledge with multiple of that card). And go with the 2GB over 1GB.

Radeon HD 7870 MYST Edition (Tahiti LE) = near the performance level of a Radeon HD 7950.
