Old system graphics card upgrade

i have a custom built pc having an intel E5500 processor , an asus P5QPL-AM motherboard and 2 gb of ddr2 ram....i wanted to put in a graphics card in it but im concerned as to whether or not it will be supported by the hardware i already have...also if it is possible to upgrade what card should i go for.....i have two in mind both from amd..the HD7770 and the HD7750...i have a 450 watt power supply that came with the case...can anybody help me?

Neither of those will work with DDr2 Ram, upgrade your CPU, motherboard, ram, then you may talk about upgrading your graphics card. 450 watts i believe is under the minimum recommendation of both of those cards. Also replace your power supply. Power supplies that come with cases are junk. Also please remember to select the best answer.

well i cant upgrade any of the components of the pc......anything that i could do on the graphics card end??? also i did a little background check....and found this.."http://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110414073512AAdBqpu".......and yes i did check.the minimum for the amd cards is 400 watts
