I would definitely change that awful PSU now. That I wouldn't even put in a scrap salvaged PC. If you want a good PSU that can run your card no problem and won't create a fire, I recommend this PSU -

And to answer your question, yes. Just plug it in the PCI-e 16X slot, the lane at the top. Wear an anti-static wrist band while doing so, or you risk destroying your computer and / or your components.
