Hi, today I received the GPU I ordered (a used MSI Radeon HD 7950), and installed it and my old Radeon HD 5850 onto my MSI 890FXA-GD70 motherboard. When I booted up, I got stuck on the 2A error code on the mobo. Since then, I tried switching the positions of the GPUs and using only the 7950. Using only the 7950 stops at 2A again, but using the 7950 as a secondary I was able to boot into Windows once, but before I was able to check if the card was being detected properly, the screens went blank and the system became unresponsive (sadly, it happened while I looked away, so I have no idea what the screens looked like before they went dark...). Subsequent attempts to boot in the same way have gotten through the windows 7 loading thing, but then the screen goes black before it shows the login screen. I am assuming the card is dead (it was used like i said), and I am planning to send it back, but I thought I'd ask around before I paid for the shipping that I may or may not be able to get refunded. Thanks for any help guys!

Sorry for the very long time before my reply, but the answer to your question is to mine litecoins. Check this out if you're interested:

Also, if anybody happens to be interested in the original question, the problem seems to have been with the GPU. I sent it back and got an identical one as a replacement, and this one works perfectly.
