Hello everyone,
(I am an IT Support worker but I am relatively new to the field, so am looking for advice)

I have an HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower that was handed into me because it "wasn't working". The error was A20, a faulty keyboard controller. It was judged that the motherboard was at fault, so we ordered another (exactly the same model). I believe it is an "FXN1 E93839"

Since getting the new motherboard however, there has been a string of errors.
The most common error I'm getting is 201 - Memory fault. I am trying to use 2 sticks of 2GB PC3-12800 DDR3 DIMM, but due to this error I have tried to swap them out/use them individually and it still has this error message
Also think I saw error 917 at one point.
I have also had an error message at one point saying the front audio wasn't plugged in, which I reseated and haven't seen this error again.

I have a POST card as well, and the most common error has been 20.00 (relating to memory), but have also seen 61.51 and 10.00 (both of which I am uncertain as to what they mean, one was referring to "Test DMA controller" and another one was referring to "enable parity checker, enable NMI")

Earlier on today, before any reseating, it would get to the point of being able to reach the Windows loading screen and then shut down and start up and get into a cycle of doing this. I tried 3 different HDDs, all of which are fine, and it did the same. However as the day progressed, it would not even get to this point

As the day has progressed though, now the power switch does nothing. The light on the motherboard is on, but no power comes to anything and the fans start up and then switch off. It never gets full power. Even the POST card flashes on and then off again.
This fault was also present within the first motherboard we had to replace.

Now I am left with a PC which can't even turn on and I'm not certain to why? Is it the motherboard, or is it the memory? Is it a faulty PSU?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

First thing to rule out is the power supply. Try connecting a different one and testing the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed. Check if the fan is constantly spinning.

Have ran a few tests and the computer is still having these issues, even with a different PSU, and the PSU seems to be working normally and powering things correctly

Can you test the boards with different CPU?
