Hello,

I am wondering if I can buy extension cables and plug them directly into my PSU.
The PSU is the Corsair CX600M. I am putting it into the Bitfenix prodigy case, wich is very small allready. Thus it would help if I can just use the extension cable alone. I would assume this to work, but i'm very doubtfull.

Thanks!

If the modular cables that come with the psu are like extension cables (which generally have opposite "gender" at each end and it's technically possible to plug one end into the other), that would work, but I don't know of any modular psus that are made like that. For the CX600M, the only modular cable that even has the same shape connector at both ends is the pci-e power cable, but it's a male plug at each end, so an extension cable wouldn't match.
