HI,
I was going to upgrade a frends rig with 7750.
His configuration is
E6750
2gb DDR2
LC power 550W
and MSI 945GCM5-F V2 (FSB 1333) motherboard.
Problem is, the GPU is not recognised by the motherboard at all, and its not giving any signal on the screen when plugged in.
When I plug in the vga cable in the integrated VGA output, I get the picture, but I cant see 7750 in device manager.
Any leads?

Try the GPU on another system, see if it works there. BTW what is the OS ? And you can try a BIOS update to the latest version, sometime it helps.

Also you can try with another PSU(power supply unit).

Newest BIOS is up, and still nothing. GPU is working fine on
Celeron G550, Asus P8H61 motherboard.

I feel extremly stupid for believing that they care about compatibility.
Fun fact, both motherboard and GPU are labeled as MSI and still not working.

I cant believe no one knows anything about it.
I set PCIE as primary, made CMOS reset, flashed BIOS, tested GPU in another system, tested more PSU.
Anyone???

It could be the PCI-E slot of the MB has gone bad or faulty. Try another GPU on the MB in question. See if it can detect the other GPU.
