It would be a problem if you were to run it on that 8 year old PSU.

Hi,thanks for all the help but I think I have solved the problem of my PC shutting down randomly, took everything of and just ran the PC,monitor and it ran great, plugged my sound in still working, tried my mouse working, plugged in my keyboard shut down straight away, now I need a new keyboard after renewing most of my PC, but I am glad I managed to solve the problem. Who would have thought a keyboard could do that, no error messages on screen, device manager reported everything working correctly left me baffled.now its solved I hope that may help some else in the future.
Thanks for everything.
Alex
