    Grab a 7970 or a 770 and call it a day.

Also, for any other posters, the 520c is an Antec Neo.

is that all my comp can support? can I take it one notch higher? which is the different between the 770 or the 7970? I've been hearing 1 chard radeon's are better for performance and cooling.

Both are pretty equal, but if you get a 7970, make sure to get the GHz edition. Also, that's the highest your budget allows unless you're fine with crossfiring two 7950s, which would require a new PSU.

Nope. Biggest gain would be another 250$, but it wouldn't be too much of one at 1080p.
  9. Wait and get the 290X. you'll be set for some years.
  10. You're very limited by your power supply. If you want unlimited options, get a PSU rated at 1kW with an 80-plus gold-certified rating like I have. Then you are only limited by budget. Keep in mind though, I have two Radeon HD 7870XTs (aka 7930) and in crossfire they have more power than a GTX Titan despite the fact that they only cost me about $325 together. Often, it's a much better value to run multi-gpu scenarios but you must have the PSU to pull it off. Since your PSU has you stuck to only one card. I would pick a Radeon HD 7970 or a GeForce GTX 760 (whichever offers the best value) and just use it. Either one will be stupidly powerful so whining about it just looks ridiculous. The GTX 560 runs so hot, is so weak and uses so much electricity that anything you get will be a supreme improvement. The GTX 770 isn't worth the extra $100 over the other two cards. In fact, I do believe that the GTX 760 is the best value in that bunch.

this so many little variations in names/maker which is the overall best? If you don't mind me asking... or does it really not matter that much?

Do you want PhysX/using Adobe programs frequently? If not, get whichever one is cheaper. If you are, get the 770.
