I am using one 4gb 1333 and one 2gb 1333 for a total of 6gb does my configuration effect performance should I just remove the 2gb ?
I was watching a video from Linus Tech tips and I think from what he was saying is if it's not in dual channel better to just keep one because it will effect performance what should I do ?

Wasn't sure if that was the rig, and not positive if yours support flex mode, many AMD mobos don't, sorry not positive, can try them in slots 1-3 or 2-4 and then look in CPU-Z , the memory tab, and it will tell if dual or straight single

What mobo and CPU? depending on if they support flex the two can run in dual channel - with the 4GB stick in slot 1 and the 2 GB in slot 3 (depending on mobo) you will have 2GB in each slot running dual and the odd 2GB in slot one running in single channel...Flex looks for an equal amount in each channel, and any excess runs in single channel mode
