Want to adapt my graphic card to another computer... please help me (important)

Hello.... I have a dell computer that i connect it through vga port with a old monitor that have in his vga male to broken wires and i took them place with to wires that i took from an another cable (it's to hard i now, but i can't change the cable in monitor because it can't be disconected). But after some times screen looked to much red i can use the pc now but it haves a very red color on background. So I was thinking to placement an another graphic card that work, that a took by my old ibm coputer. But here the problems comes the graphic card have a different motherboard connection and i can't find a place to my dell what to do help me please

Your English is not good.. so not sure I understand.
But from what you say - it sounds like the issue is the cable and probably not the graphics card itself.
Check your cable/monitor before considering the graphics card.

But what about cable? I seen these kind of things a lot (Red saturation) and it is (almost) always the cable.

Thank you for answering again I have demaged vga port on my dell by my self i have tried to connect with another cable in my tv but is the same about the red color on the screen..... isn't about that i can't use the pc but i don't won't it with this red thing that don't looks good at all
