Ok so I'm new to the ssd world. I got tired of my computer booting so slow and being yhe last to load into games so I said f it, and bought an adata sx900 256gb. It was either that or the Samsung EVO 250, but the adata went on sale so there we have it.

I have the coolerhaf 912 and the drive bays are too big for the ssd. I screwed the ssd into its widening bracket.. But it's too small. Am I missing something here?

I totally just strapped it down for now since it has no moving parts I'm not worried about it bouncing around.
It had nothing to slide into even if it was 1cm wider, that's the thing.

Solution
I have the original version. It came with the plastic adaptor to mount a SSD or 2 1/2 inch drive in the 3 1/2 inch cage.
Check your box of parts. It was in with the drive rails and extra 5 1/4 to 3 1/2 drive adaptor face plate.

The case 2 options for SSD mounting.
The small cage in front of the power supply on the case bottom.
And a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 plastic adaptor to place it in the 3 1/2 hard drive cage.

Or as in the post above you can remove the center hard drive cage. Then move the SSD cage on top of the bottom HDD cage.

I don't have the 'plus' i have the older one. I had to remove the little ssd cage at the bottom by the psu cuz my ax760 psu from corsair wouldnt fit with all its modular wires.. i didnt know what that was for, now I guess i'll try and make it fit ><
