Can my power supply handle this?

Hello, I am currently running an old-ish computer (2006 I believe) that I have upgraded (new case, PSU, and graphics card) and feel that I may need an upgrade to a quad-core and a new graphics card. System specs below. So I'm asking if my PSU can handle a GTX 460 or an AMD equivalent graphics card along with a Q6600. Thank you.

Motherboard: MSI G41M4-F

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5800 running at 3.7 Ghz

*New* CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600

Graphics Card: Gigabyte Radeon 6670 1GB DDR3

*New* Graphics Card: A GTX 460 or HD 6850

PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 400

I also have 1 DVD drive and 2 SATAII HDD.

I think the 460 is rated at 450W, but with a decent PSU, like you have, you ought to be fine.

But do you know how many watts I'm pulling from my system? Are DVD drives and HDDs insignificant? Oh I also have 2 LED fans.

Yeah sorry, should've explained. The 450W is including a standard setup, like yours. I'll bet with the above setup you'll be in the 350W zone most of the time.

With the new hardware and drives included , maybe around 350w at a heavy load , so the 400w is probably ok , because it's a decent one.

I would go to 500w to 550w for some extra power.

I might have to get a new PSU if I want to overclock my Q6600 in order for it not to bottleneck. Is there any AMD equivalent card?
