So i have a amd power color 6770, I had HDMI connected to it when i first got it, but un hooked it because i didnt like how text displayed, now after almost a year, i just decided i wanna do some HD gaming, Well after hooking my HDMI cable to my gfx card, 5 seconds later blue screened and crashed, 2nd attempt i got to open the catalyst to actually ENGAGE the hdmi, purpleish screen with wavey lines and pc crash, 3rd attempt got it working for about 6 min before the pc crashed without a auto restart and a ttoal black screen, I now have the HDMI cable un hooked and pc is working totally fine, any ideas?
brand new hdmi cable and i tried others aswell.
