Hi,
I currently have an Itel MB(DQ35JOE) with a Intel Core 2 Quad 2.5GHz and a DDR2Gb RAM. Aside from that I have a 450W Chieftech power supply, an old samsung dvd drive (PATA) and a GIGABYTE GTX560 Ti. A kingston 64GB SSD, and a WD 5400rpm HDD.
Because new Battlefield is about to be released and rendering an physics simultaions take forever in Autodesk 3Ds Max, I decided to upgrade. What I had in mind was a very good processor-I dont mind spending on that one (mabye Intel Core i5-4570), and a reliable motherboard to go with it, that will not slow anything down. Also about 8GB DDR3 RAM.

The PC will be used mostly for gaming and Autodesk. Any opinion appreciated. :)

Sounds like tyou have it in hand, 4570 or 4770 would be fine if not OCing, 8GB would be good, look for 16/9 1.5 volt set or better, (I prefer GSkill), and would look at the Asus mobos, they seem to bhave the best handle on the Z87 rigs, maybe the Asus Z87-A, Plus or better

@Tradesman1 not that heavily - just thought I would point out that I occasionaly use it..
@Swprdkd I can overclock a graphics card, but I would rather not go into overclocking a CPU..

Budget - hard to say - I am from czech rep and the prices of products ma yvary, but from what I have seen, the CPU should be about a half of the full price if possible :)
Thanks
