Hi.

Is it possible for me to have both my TV, which is connected via HDMI, and monitor, via Dvi, on at the same time?

Presently I have to 'make this screen my main display' if I wish to use one or the other. Which ever I choose leaves the other working but blank.

Thanks.

Right click on desktop, Screen resolution and at the Multiple displays choose extend these displays.

Thanks, but I have that checked.

My displays are not the same size, one is 1440x900 and the other 1920x1080.

Could this be the problem, do both displays need to be the same size?

No, in this case size doesnt matter. Im using two monitors with the same resolutions as yours. One via DVI and the other via VGA.

Well that's good news. Is there any settings within the AMD control center I need to set or should it be fully automated?

Well the thing is that i have little experience with amd(never owned one) but things like that are supposed to be automated. Try searching the options on the AMD control center somewhere at Display settings or something just try not to end up with two blank monitors :p

Sorry for not being able to be more helpful about your issue...

OK, it doesn't look like I can run my LCD-TV and PC monitor at the same time 'which is a shame'. So I think I will look at replacing the Radeon 5450. Can anyone recommend a Graphics card that is capable of displaying to 2 displays in different rooms at the same time?

My PC is used for HTPC only, no gaming.. I'm all ears what ever the cost..... Thanks
