Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my CPU for my PC. I have a p6-2143w and have an AMD APU A6-3650 APU. I'm looking for the best performance for under $400.

My GPU is a Radeon HD 7870. I was wondering if my motherboard could handle something like an i5, i7 cpu. (Not the best at building gaming PC's). Any suggestions for an upgrade if possible?
