Which bus are you referring to?
Well the ones we see in openhardware monitor or cpuz. is there only one or they have the same num as the cores?
There are hundreds upon hundreds of buses in a computer system. The one that you are referring to is most likely either the old Front-Side Bus (FSB), the QPI Bus which connects microprocessors packages to each other in a multi socket system (as well as the microprocessor to the PCH on the X58 platform), the DMI Bus which connects the microprocessor to the PCH on all Intel 6, 7, and 8 series platforms, or simply the SDRAM IO Bus which connects each memory rank to the memory controller.
None of these communicate with the microprocessor cores directly. That's usually handled by an internal Back-Side BUS (BSB) which is responsible for connecting the microprocessor to the cache. The cache is then connected to the memory through one of the aforementioned buses. Thus, the bandwidth on externally facing buses is shared between the cores
