computer wont wake up the display from sleep

Hello Everyone,
My son just got a gaming computer from cyberpower and whenever it goes into sleep mod when you move the mouse it wakes up the computer but not the display. He has to turn off the main power in the back to get the display to work. Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix t?

  1. Is the AMD External Events Utility enabled?
  2. Honestly I have no idea what that means.
  3. Take a look at this

If its enabled, disable it, if its disabled , enable it. If that doesnt work set it back to its original state.
  4. It's actually set to automatic.

Well, try setting it to enabled, if it doesnt work set it to disabled if that doesnt work either set it back to auto.

Forgot to mention to restart after every change.
  6. My monitor would not wake up. Usually no mouse or keyboard either. I ram memtest and ram was fine. I went into bios and ram was defaulting to 1600 when it was on auto. My ram was 1866. I set the ram to 1866 and have not had the problem since.
