Oh sorry forgot to put the budget, we're looking at around $100-120 for the graphics card, i think he has like a 500 watts psu dont know the brand. He's not a hardcore gamer, but he's loves to play nba2k13.

Why would he get a GTX 550 when that thing is outdated and overpriced? You do know that the current gen of nVidia is GTX 7xx right? In any case, at his budget level, his best choice BY FAR is the XFX Radeon HD 7790 from NCIX. It costs $150 but it's $40 off and has a $20 mail-in rebate on top of that. So it costs $110 and then he gets another $20 back, dropping the price to under $100. Here's the link:

Here are some charts from Crysis 3 and FarCry 3 to show the HD 7790's performance level:

becoz he is not going to upgrade his PC and GTX 650 is best for his friend if he buy a high end card and not upgrade his PC then it is like wasting his money becoz it can not fully perform.and i think 650 is also enough for him...

jst a follow question with regards to the vidcard that you suggested, will there be a bottleneck issue there if he's going to get the 560 ti or the 650 ti?
