Cloned drive fails to boot error windows root system32 ntoskrnl exe

Cloned windows 8 pro from maxtor 300gb drive to a wd 1tb drive using acronis wd version and have bios set to boot up to the wd drive and see error listed above and wd said to repair it with the windows 8 pro disc and do not know how to proceed further

Sorry But I said I was using Windows 8 pro 64 bit not Windows 8.1 and the Western Digital website states the newest release of there "Acronis version" says Windows 8 and below works with there drives only.....maybe not
