no beucase those are diferent sokes you curent one being am3+ and the one you metioned being lg2011 however you could put in another fx series asuming its tpd is suported as well as in firmware

yes but we need to know the model of prebuilt you are running because somtimes the motherboards dont suport cpu's with a high enough power consuption to drop in a fx8350 also you might need to update the bios to suport it since it is a new arcitecture

yes it does although you will need to find the latest bios and update it here http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#sp in all likelihood if you want to change the cpu
