changing gpu/pówer consumption

HEy guys,

im gonna change my gtx 650 for a gtx 760 that has a recommended minimum power supply of 500w.
My system is the following: i5 3330, 8gb ram, msi g-43 and a 500w thermaltake tr2 pw.

Should I have trouble adding the gtx 760 with that power supply? Any help would be nice! thanks!

  1. If you were asking if you should buy the Thermaltake, I would likely be advising against it but since you already have it and it should work, use it. If you find you have stability problems down the road, you might consider the PSU as a possible source.
Hopefully you won't have any issues running it (ideally there shouldn't be)
