I made a post about this a while ago. Back then it was only sometimes that I would get booted. It was extremely frustrating. Every time I would have to reset my router over and over again to get my internet to work.

Recently though, playing black ops 2 on ps3 I've been getting booted more often. I'll be playing a game of league play when the other team says they'll boot us off and then the connection interrupted error just shows up. If you play black ops 2 league, you'll know it's common with the people in masters division top 10. Today alone, I've been booted off AT LEAST 5 times already.

Why the heck is it so easy for people to just shut down someone's internet connection these days? Is there absolutely NOTHING I can do to stop this? It's pathetic that people need to do this to win. I don't care if they win but it's becoming an issue for me when my internet becomes useless every time someone feels the need to not lose a game.

Any advice you guys have for me? How can I stop getting booted? Is there anything I can do if I am getting booted or to prevent it. Any programs you guys recommend I download? I mean, any advice at all? Right now, I have Comodo Firewall installed on my computer. Every time I get ip flooded

It's ridiculous how something like this is so common. Do these people ever get reported or banned?

You ave static or dynamic IP?
Having dynamic IP can help you.

The fact of DDoS attacks are:

1] Only your ISP can block the flooder IP which is even not known to you too(I guess a botnet attack or random VPN ips)

2] You can do nothing on your end to prevent the DDoS attack.

3] The only solution is getting Dynamic IP & IPv6 connection.

DDoS attacker gets your IP and then run the attack, if your IP is online it get flooded.

So, if you have Dynamic IP, every time you connect to internet, you will get a new IP. Because of IP variation each time, it will be tough to attck the IP for the attacker.

You can contact your ISP for a Dynamic IP.
