Hello everyone,
I'm on a Dell Dimension 9200 that I'm just about to finish rebuilding, and I'm having one small problem. Since the mobo has six slots for drives, I've been trying to use them to stick as much storage as possible into the machine. The problem is that my computer will only recognize two hard drives at a time. I have a third plugged in correctly, but the system doesn't show it (yes, I've tried BIOS, it doesn't appear there either). Is there a fix for this? I'd really like to use my motherboard to its full potential.

in the bios look under sat chipset. make sure it not set to raid mode. should be set to achi see if dell bios lets you turn on or off the extra ports. on the drives check that both the data and power plugs are connected. if they are it may be your dell power supply cant output the power needed for all of those drives.
