How can I change the two view options in the status bar in Windows Explorer, like the 2 in the screenshot? Those are not my preferred views. I can't right-click and change anywhere. Options/Properties do not seem to help any. At the very least, surely there's a registry that can be changed...

It can't be done.
If you can find reg tweak, please let us know.

Good luck!

I doubt that it can't be done, but you could try:
In Explorer, click Tools->Folder Options->View Tab; and click Reset Folders.
That might do it. If not then I can't help you either, have you tried googling it?

Guess you're stuck with selecting 'View' from the top toolbar...

Or you can use the keyboard and mouse.
Hold CTRL and scroll up and down
Or Hold down CTRL and Shift and press the numbers from 1 to 8 for different views

Hope this helped.
