I've a $150 dollar bestbuy giftcard I'm going to use on their store. I currently have a GTX 260 and a AMD 6300. I want to upgrade from the 260.

I would say the closest current day cards to the GTX 260's performance would be the Radeon HD 7750 and the GTX 650. The GTX 650 would be a bit faster than both those cards, and the GTX 260 would be a bit faster than the Radeon HD 7750. The performance difference between the GTX 650 and the Radeon HD 7750 is not very large though. The GTX 650 maybe better by 10%, and I am not talking about the more powerful GTX 650 Ti or GTX 650 Ti Boost versions.

What is your budget?

The two most powerful card for under $150 at BestBuy are:

The Radeon HD 7770 2GB GPU for $135. However, it is probably only about 15% - 20% more powerful than your GTX 260. It is also more powerful than the GTX 650.

For $149 you can buy the more powerful GTX 650 Ti 1GB GPU. While it only has 1GB of VRAM vs. 2GB of VRAM for the Radeon HD 7770, the GTX 650 Ti is still the more powerful graphics card. I would say that is about 25% - 30% more powerful than the Radeon HD 7770.
