Hi everyone. So, I have a custom build using Win7 and a Z77A-G45 by MSI as my Mobo, and a Asus Internal Wifi card for Wifi. I recently had Ethernet wired through the house, and am ready to hook up to ethernet.

When I plug the cable in, nothing happens. I know the cable is not dead because it works fine with my laptop. It has to be something with drivers, or the motherboard, or maybe the Wifi Card is interfering. Something tells me it has to do with Realtek Network Drivers?

So, I tried installation those Drivers again and it didn't recognize the cable either. I couldn't find any other helpful answers on other threads :(

Pls Help!

on the build look to see if the led ports are on and blinking when the cable plugs in. if there no lights start with the bios make sure the Ethernet port in the bios is turned on. then install the intel chipset drivers from intel. if the driver not installed some of the mb wont work right. under network devices make sure no one disabled the onboard port too.

Hi, The Ethernet controller driver is more likely missing - Knowing this is half the battle !! Have you a CD-Rom that came with the motherboard or do you have access to the internet even if its on your laptop ?

I have access to internet through my Wifi Card which is working on the computer I'm having ethernet trouble with. I've tried reinstalling drivers. This is what it says during the install: "The Realtek Network Controller Was Not Found, If Deep Sleep Mode Is Enabled Please Plugin The Cable
