Hi so as we speak I am stress testing my 3570k with prime 95. It has been going for two hours and before that I did and Intel burn test. My cpu's turbos running at 4.3 ghz at a voltage of 1.65. I have been walking it down all day from 1.25 by intervals of 0.05 Compared to other forums posts, that seems incredibly low. So my question is, Is that any negative effects from having your voltage to low for your clock speed. Or am I just doing something wrong.

Btw my cores aren't reaching 60 degrees C. I am using Hyper 212 evo (push pull) and I have my computer with 8 case fans in front of a window. Its probably 40 degrees out.

Thank You all in advance for the responses.

1.65 is a low voltage for you? Are you kidding? The standard voltage for a 3570k running at 4.5ghz is 1.3V. 1.65 is overkill and i havn't even heard of anyone putting their voltages up that high on the 3570. As of right now mine is running at 4.4Ghz at a voltage of 1.23V

Also if your voltage is too low for your clock speed than you get a BSOD and you just have to put it back up. No damage done though

It really depends on your LLC setting, if you set it to level 1, then generally you can expect to run 4.3ghz around stock voltage.

My 3570k runs at 4.5ghz with +0.10v if I do level 1 LLC, if i do level 3 it takes somewhere around +0.50v
