cpu socket temps or core temps?

Solution
The socket temps are the actual sockets on the motherboard, The core temps are the actual cpus temps. All in all, both are good to keep track of but core is more important. As long as you dont hit over 70C you are clear, if you are around 60 under load, a new aftermarket cooler such as the coolermaster hyper 212 EVO is a great cooler.
