What is going on with this company? I know that these are very personal, conceited, and close minded opinions but these are some major concerns. Why have they not updated their fx line cpu division besides these two ridiculous re-markets of a $200 cpu? They really need to focus on the dying fx line this cycle because of the competition with intel is getting more and more intel sided. They need to add pci 3.0 to their feature sets onboard. Their new Battlefield 4 advertisements really contradict their whole "Radeon is Gaming" thing mostly because bf4 is out in a few weeks and they are now JUST releasing their new gpus. A good marketing campaign for their gpu division shouldn't even think audio yet we were sat there for about 45 minutes talking about audio in a graphics conference. On top of that they are coming in so late into this generation's gpu battle with nvidia probably because they were apparently so focused on audio. How can you have a pre-order deal when the product comes out within a month and their only competition had already got them in the butt about 3-4 months earlier? Also why not make your gpus more attractive by developing a new technology that competes with physx. I'm sorry for all of the hate towards amd but I just need to voice some of my opinion.
-still love you amd <3

As far as processors go AMD doesn't really need to be the best. I am pretty sure they are fine with being the "alternate" choice. They are still making a lot of money and the only difference is in numbers not noticeable performance.

As far as GPUs, AMD and Nvidia are pretty well matched. AMD is developing TressFX to compete with PhysX, but not many games even use it so it's not a huge drawback. As you can see here, the 7990 slightly beats the Titan.

As far as audio, graphics cards are beginning to replace audio because HDMI can carry video and audio. Audio quality should be just as important as image quality to gamers, if it doesn't sound real than the image is pointless.

Their release of their new GPU line before BF4 was perfect. Now many gamers will freak out thinking they need to get the newest and greatest before BF4 is released. There is now a "deadline" of when you need to buy. Also, to those who won't fall for that, they will buy the lower end cards as their prices drop. Boom, sales increase.

The FX-8350 is a very good gaming CPU so I am not really sure what your problem is. Fitted with a good GPU it can keep up with even the i5 4670K. I have tested mine with a friends i5 4670K build and in every game they were so close it was hard to even call. Oh and the board I just got has PCI-E 3.0 on board.
