I need to reformat my hard drive. None of the window programs will respond. They open but are blank. So I can't reformat the normal way, nor can I reformat in safe mode. Isn't there a key you press to get to reformat as the computer starts up. I did it in my presario, but this computer is a dell. I have no discs either. please help me, I'm 64 and no computer wiz so don't use all that fancy tech talk. lol I just want it back to like it came from the store. Or set to an earlier date which I also can't do because that is a window's program also. thanks for any help. this is why seniors don't want to bother with puters. lol
