My current storage setup includes:
Samsung 120gb 840 SSD
1tb Western Digital Black
Recently I have been recording Minecraft and Battlefield 3 with Dxtory, as these programs are on my ssd and I record to my main hdd. However, I want to record more footage using games that are on my 1tb black, for this I need another Harddrive..
I have a WD green 1tb hdd with a 32mb cache lying around..
Will this be fast enough for 720p recordings using the Lagarith Lossless Codec? Or will I need a faster HDD..
Im looking to record 1080p in the distant future.. However, Ill likely buy a new HDD for that..
