Solution
I've worked on a number of them with no problems, mainly upgrades, so they take to a wide variety of components, have seen a few (like with all AMD mobos, where folks buy faster DRAM than the CPU can run, freezing also often occurs again with DRAM, people simply don't know DRAM and don't know how to set it up, and on AMD mobos it can be a real pain as AMD CPUs have relatively weak MCs (memory controllers), AMD doesn't utilize XMP per se as Intel systems do, so DRAM 1600 and up oft times needs to be set up manually and folks A) don't even know how to set up basics and B) with 1600 and up have no idea on how to set up voltages....I've been working the forums at GSkill for a few years now, and we have a thread that was put up about 2.5...

I looked at that board too, however while no model is perfect when I looked at the 1/5 customer scores at Newegg (you can look at just the 1/5) the complaints of various freezing etc made me nervous about this particular board.

The Gigabyte board had a few complaints like all boards do but not generally related to freezing, DOA, etc.
