The 2500K is shown here as getting solid FPS at stock clocks. A Haswell i5 (4670K) is going to perform roughly 15% better than that. That's not even taking overclocking into consideration.
BF 4 does can make use of Hyper Threading. However, so far it is the only game proven to benefit from HT. If BF 4 is on your list of must play games and you have the money for it, then buy an i7. Otherwise, stick to the i5.

I agree with jaguarskx. An i5 should be totally fine for you. And like jaguar said, it's the only game really that will benefit from hyper threading. But if money isn't an issue.. You can always go for the i7-3770k and OC that thing.
The following BF4 Beta multiplayer article references a russian site that did the benchmarking. Note that HT is only used in multiplayer, not single player campaign.

I currently have a GTX 780 and and I'm gonna get a 3570k soon and overclocking, you think I will be fine?

Yeah, overclock it to around 4.4 if possible and you should be good for a very long time. The i7 just isn't worth the extra money for strictly gaming.
