Hello y'all,
So per the title, I recently upgraded from an nvidia 675M to a 770M. Upon doing this i now get a BSOD clearly calling out nvlddmkm.sys. I searched around and found many instances of this but no solution so far has worked for me.

Some Specs:
Win7 64x
16GB DDR3
Intel® Ivy Bridge Core™ i7-3610QM 2.3 GHz
256gb ssd
Basically, anytime i do something that uses the gpu, it lags out then.. BSOD. Opening GPU-Z on the 770m will lock up the program. Opening Steam will cause the crash after update screen. playing videos or built in Microsoft games does NOT cause BSOD.
Soooo,

I have used new drivers, beta drivers, old drivers.
I took it out and removed the drivers like that.
Each time i clicked the "clean install"
I followed some procedure to manually un-compress the nvldmkm.sy_ into drivers folder.
I used driver sweeper.
I refreshed windows from a backup made immediately after OS install. (same as above done)
Updated the BIOs with no improvement.

Also i know the same model GT60 was released with 700m series cards, so i am pretty sure it is compatible.

I will be utterly and completely grateful for any and all assistance for as long as my memory allows, and thank you in advance.

Please, if you need me to expand on any details, just let me know so.

well, not sure exactly what was going on, but i saw something that claimed there was some sort of super wam-o-dyne awsome ness with the newer gt60s and their Windows 8-ness that made the gpu more efficient... so basically i think the specific card i got (being from a newer gt60) just isn't compatible.
