Ok so i have the G41m-P33 Combo motherboard
it has both DDR2 and DDR3 ram slot's some specs:
CPU: LGA775
Chipset: North Bridge Intel G41 and South Bridge ICH7
Memory: 2x DDR2-1066(OC)/800/667 and 2x DDR3-1333(OC)/1066/800 DIMM Slots, Dual Channel, Unbuffered, Max Capacity of 8GB

I have 2GB Ram 1GBx2 So i have two DDR3 slots left i wanna buy 2GB DDR3 ram to have 4GB total will the DDR3 work with my two 1GB DDR2 ram already in the motherboard?

Problem:

Solution:

It will not work since the speeds of the ram are different.

For Example:

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 Mhz (2x1gb) - Slot 1, then if this is true you would need Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 Mhz (1x2gb).
