Hey guys,

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC to a decent gaming machine.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to play upcoming games such as BF4, GTA V (hopefully), and some racing games on above-medium quality and without noticeable lag.
I'm not sure if a new processor will be necessary too.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In a month or so
BUDGET RANGE: 400$ but I'd like to keep it under that if possible.

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, mostly on games like BF4, Metro, GTA V, and some Need for Speed.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Nvidia GeForce GT 620, not sure where to find my current power supply...

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: 8gb DDR3 RAM, Intel Core i3 2130 @ 3.40Ghz, Medion H61H2-LM3 motherboard (found some stuff about it here: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/mainboard-medion-h61h2-...).

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Ideally an european based website so that the items don't have to go through customs, so Amazon/eBay... not sure what else there is.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Portugal

PARTS PREFERENCES: Nvidia I'd say, as I remember having some driver issues with ATI GPU's in the past.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900, possibly 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 in the future.)

Let me know your thoughts,

Tiago

Get an i5 3570k or 3470 and a nvidia geforce gtx 760 should be good on high settings at 1080p.you should get this combo and please update me with ypur psu.a gtx 760 requires a minimum power supply of 500w.

Correct, I just want the GPU and, if necessary, the CPU :)

Do you think that my current processor isn't enough?
The i5 3570k + the gtx 760 would cost around 560USD...
