I currently have an inspiron 620 and I am ready to upgrade for better graphics while playing games. I was aiming for a corsair 600 and a radeon 7770 to start. My current monitor is getting pretty old. What else is needed if I want my games to run smoothly with good graphics on high settings? Will I need to replace the motherboard or cooler? How about the monitor?

The motherboard is Core i5 or i6(I will check later) and 3.30 GHz. The corsair 600 is a power supply unit (600 watts) I am planning un running a resolution of about 2048x2048

The resolution will probably be 1920x1080 for most good size monitors, you would want something higher than a 7770 card. nVidia 650 Ti Boost is probably the least one you'd want for higher reolutions. It will match the i5 CPU just fine. For a monitor, take a look here and pick a model based on your budget http://www.newegg.com/LCD-LED-Monitors/SubCategory/ID-2...
