Wired Internet Won't Work (Help, Please)

So, my wireless Internet works 100% perfectly.

I plugged my cable into the back of my router to the back of my PC & it can't even find any connections or anything. I'm using Windows 7.

Hi, Does the network center have a red x on it or does it have limited connectivity ?

If it has a red x, probably a defective port or cable while limited connectivity could mean defective port or cable or problem with network card also.

Hope you plug the cable in a lan port not in the internet port.

I don't have another port. The orange/red light is steady orange/red. The yellow/green light is flashing.
