Hello folks, u see , i once tried to write an image of a floppy into a 4GB USB stick. It was bad move,
[Image Writer for Microsoft Windows Release 0.8 - Furball Edition Tool used] and the name of the image was FreeDOS-1.1-USB-Boot.img. Download page:
So now i recall it , i was planning to write FreeDos disc image to a usb .
Hope the problem is understood.
Is their anyway , i could restore the lost space 3.70 GB , i wasn't able to comprehend, since i had never faced such an issue.
Could someone provide me with a solution.

i know that this question is old but this helped me Click Here its 100% guarantee to help o and no downloads are required you just need the USB/SD and a Windows Computer

it happened to me when i tried to make a Chromeboook Recovery disk even tho i used the official tool but it made 2 parts to my usb counting it as 2 usbs but only one was usable with 10MB out of 8GB but this fixed it and my usb on the bad sector had a folder named LOST & FOUND but this the link above will help you its quick and easy to use:)

Have you tried formatting it, assuming that there is nothing of value on it?

You may need to re-partition the drive. Right click on Computer, select Manage>Storage>Disk Management. Find your drive. Does it show "Unallocated Space"? If so, right click and select "New Simple Volume" and create a new partition.

Thanks man, i never thought that way, i am on dual boot, but use XP more, so went to Disk Mgmnt and saw their was 3.7 GB unallocated. I couldn't assigned the unallocated space, the "Create New Partition " was greyed out.
So i got this idea and booted to Gparted and from their i selected the drive, and deleted the 30 MB and made an entirely new partition.
Now it is 3.73, before it was 3.71GB.

Check the snapshot, i was almost about to throw away this pendrive.
Thank you once again.

That was even better than what I suggested. Congrats, and thanks for the best answer!
