NAS Full Disk Encryption with Multi Users?

Last response: in Storage

Due to regulations, all data in my industry must be encrypted at 128bit or higher. We are trying to use a NAS drive as a central backup and communication tool via OneNote.

Has anyone found a way to successfully encrypt a NAS drive with multiple user access, not just individual files?

Are you guys using active directory?

If not, which credentialing system are you using? (what authorizes your user network logins)

Yes! you can encrypted an entire NAS volume not just files via freeNAS.
You can DIY or locate a manufacture who offers NAS base on FreeBSD or FreeNAS
