My laptop makes extremely loud noises and get really hot. I cant figure out where the problem might be. I have cleaned the fan area, replaced the fan and heat sink, made sure the fan is actually working but nothing changes.

Im not sure how I can diagnose where the problem is coming from, maybe motherboard or cpu? I have noticed that it is runs a little slower at times but I have not experienced any other issues.

Thank you!!

Could jsut be a crappy laptop. I've had some come into my shop that just run hot, always do, bad design, fan's always blowing, and it just is what it is. Not sure why you replace the heatsink and fan, normally just a cleaning and new thermal paste will take care of a lot of it.

the only parts in a laptop that will make noise are
1.speakers
2.fan
3.hdd
in your case i suspect that the fan is the problem because you say (My laptop makes extremely loud noises and get really hot).
if you lift the laptop and put your ear near the air vent where hot aid comes out and makes the most of the noise then it is the fan.
on old laptops this is a common issue noisy and get hot fan usually gets stuffed up with dust inside the only solution is to pour isopropyl alcohol and blow it out with compresst air for 3-4 times and putt a little oil the one you put on rusty locks and move the blades around.if nothing happens cant change anything.

Yes that is where the noise and hot air come from. Should I replace the fan again then?

try the solution i suggested up i updated my status. the method i use does the same job as the contact cleaning sprays i usually use isopropyl alcohol because i use it in many things and i have a compressor hope this helps ;)
if you give me the laptop model i might be able to provide you more information

Did repalce thermal paste last time? just replacing fans isn't going to do much really.
