Is this good for overclocking an i5-3570k?

Solution
I wouldn't base this off the bf4 beta. If it is anything like the bf3 beta you can expect it to run a bit better when the official release is out.

But yes, that cpu cooler will let you overclock a bit. I use it on my i5-2500k and can push 4.3 ghz without a voltage tweak and it stays below 60c under load (usually mid 50s).

double/triple for an extra 5% or 2-3C + more noise unless you are on customer water, in which case 5-10x and an extra 5C perhaps. Read the review on the front page of toms, there's not much in it compared to a noctua air cooler.

You'll pay almost double at the low end and there is no thermal benefit for your CPU at that price point. What a water cooler will do is not expel heat to your other components that an aircooler would, You still need airflow to your motherboard but overall the number of fans needed will be reduced and therefore noise.

The best + is that you can transport your rig without your motherboard cracking.
