BIOS won't start can hear the beep

So my BIOS won't start...
It doesn't say anything when I press F2 when the Acer logo appears it just beeps and continues starting up. Oh, and Windows works well...

OS: Windows 8
PC Model: Acer Aspire V5-531

I presume you've tried hitting Delete? If you can get in touch with Acer tech support, they might be able to give you a better solution. With notebooks and pre-built systems, it's difficult to diagnose issues because there are often manufacturer-specific hardware and drivers involved.

That's Windows 8 "simplifying" things for ya. I'm sure it's an implementation made by Acer, getting into the BIOS or UEFI shouldn't have anything to do with the OS, hence how you can go into the BIOS and configure RAID setups before installing an OS, at least on custom PCs.
