Yesterday everything was working fine. Today compute is completely dead.

I have been working on it for awhile this morning, and i think the jumper (i am not sure if thats what it is called) where you plug in the cases power switch cable is fried. I had an old AM2 board lying around so i just put the 20 pin and power switch jumper and it fired right up. So i took the bad board out and I think I found the issue. i am going to post a pictures hopefully you can see it. It looks like there something burnt or something about the pins.

Take it to an electronics repair, they may be able to fix it. It may cost more than a new board though. You are right, it looks f'd. How did that even happen? The whole front panel jumper set shouldn't really have much in the way of power running through it...Did you hook up a power switch or reset button to the HDD or power on light?
