That article is from Sept 23rd and there are no real world benchmarks as of yet so I wouldn't jump to any decisions until people start getting their hands on these cards.
Depends on what resolution you plan on going with, if its 1080p then a 290x or 780 or titan would be overkill and unnecessary. If you plan on gaming with multiple displays or 2560 x 1440/1600 then go with any of the 3, with the 290x being a slight advantage in some games I believe.
So I am building this gaming PC, and I want to know, which is better for gaming, the upcoming AMD R9 290X, the GeForce 780, or the Titan?
Thanks!
see u should go for the R9 290x. you should go for 290x if you are making a pc of a normal resolution and you can keep the card cool because u know its AMD. you should go for titan only u know to develop games if not go for GTX 780 TI because it is a gaming gpu. The AMD cards also do not last for too long to will work till 4 years but it think its enough if u keep upgrading your pc but if not go for GTX 780 TI.
